Safety culture: Cultural Platform NGO shares its path to shaping a systematic worldview

On International Day for Mine Awareness and Assistance in Mine Action, we wanted to tell you more about our projects related to the safety culture concept, which the Cultural Platform Zakarpattya NGO developed and has been consistently implementing since 2016.

Safety culture is an ethically humane worldview paradigm necessary for the understanding and cooperation of different generations of Ukrainians in the joint creation of a safe future.

Yevhen Zabarylo

“Safety culture focuses on the development of modern knowledge infrastructures that enable the well-being of the younger generation. It is a unifying factor of values through which we can achieve social cohesion in times of uncertainty.”

Yevhen Zabarylo, chairman of the board, co-founder of the Cultural Platform Zakarpattya NGO, expert in communication and content security

The values of dignity, partnership, and trust, which are ubiquitous for modern Ukrainian society, form the need for promoting safety culture as a worldview paradigm that will permeate all social activities.

Together with the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) in Ukraine, experts of the State Emergency Service and the education system of Ukraine, we are building an ecosystem of the safety culture youth worldview trend, which practically unites many state programs in the realm of security, education, and development of a horizontal democratic society
