Cultural Platform Zakarpattya NGO holds 11 days of creative workshops for the youth of Mykolaiv, Lupareve, Bashtanka, and Snihurivka despite constant air raid alerts.

On March 19-29, the team of Cultural Platform Zakarpattya NGO held 42 events for the development of creative skills for the youth of Mykolaiv and Mykolaiv region. Participants visited workshops on sound design, practices on the art of movement and acting, content laboratories on innovation, direction, and creativity, a performance by BRYKULETS, as well as explored the U-POP style and worked on creative product concepts.



Spilno Camp. Communities program is built on youth-friendly formats and modern approaches (interactive workshops, content creation, open performances), through which young people explore socially important topics with ease. All activities of the Camp are aimed at the development of specific future-proof skills, such as creativity and creative thinking, positive communication, emotional intelligence, the ability to work in a team, conflict resolution, and self-reflection.

During these eleven days, the Camp events were visited by more than seven hundred participants from Mykolaiv, Lupareve, Bashtanka, and Snihurivka. Despite constant air raids and being in shelters, the youth managed to acquire new skills in the creative industries, which could become their first step to mastering professions in the field of cultural economy in the future.


The NGO expresses special thanks for fruitful cooperation in the framework of the Spilno Camp. Communities events to the Department of Youth Policy and the Department of Education of the Mykolaiv City Council.
Thanks to this project, the Cultural Platform team can provide youth with up-to-date and progressive knowledge, help express their emotions and experience of war through creative and creative practices, and unite local and internally displaced youth in a safe space of collaborative creation. Such activities contribute to the socialization of young people and result in a more harmonious social adaptation through joint learning.
