“KONTENTA” audiovisual studies continue to be implemented in various communities of the country, in particular, in youth centers close to the front line.

On May 23, Mykolaiv City Council opened the first Mykolaiv City Youth Space. From the very first working day, KONTENTA—the new generation’s digital infrastructure of mental resilience—became a part of the Youth Space. The integration of the studio was made possible through cooperation with the Mykolaiv City Council Department of Youth Policy.

The Youth Space opening was visited by the Head of the UNICEF Country Office in Ukraine Munir Mammadzade, the Mayor of Mykolaiv Oleksandr Senkevych, and the Head of the Mykolaiv City Council Department of Youth Policy Arsen Hasparian.

Now the youth of Mykolaiv have the opportunity to create their own projects, collaborate, hold cultural and educational events, and explore local contexts—while sounding powerfully through all the air raid alarms.

“The youth of the world today are struggling with mental health and motivation. Just imagine if only they had heard an air raid siren or the sound of a rocket at least once, what would have happened to them? At the same time, our young people experience all this, process it, and remain able to create something. Most of them are stable, and no one can explain this phenomenon. I believe that many films and books will be made about that. This is the phenomenon of the era”
says Yevhen Zabarylo, Chairman of the Board at Cultural Platform Zakarpattya NGO.

The project was developed by the Cultural Platform Zakarpattya NGO with the support of the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) in Ukraine. In 2024, 20 KONTENTA studios are scheduled to be set up in various youth centers across the country.
