As part of the KONTENTA audiovisual studies project, the first community-building summer workshop will be held in Kyiv. Cultural Platform will provide training in communications, event design, and audiovisual content production as well as engage youth workers in discussing the directions for the development of music education in Ukraine.

As part of the “KONTENTA” audiovisual studies project, Cultural Platform not only installs studios in youth centers but also mentors the KONTENTA community: both the young people who implement their projects in the studio and the youth workers responsible for the technical maintenance and engagement of new studio members. The project was developed by Cultural Platform Zakarpattya NGO developed with the support of the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) in Ukraine.
Cultural Platform will hold the first summer workshop for youth workers in Kyiv: participants will be able to acquire new skills necessary for the development of the KONTENTA project in their communities and attend the events of the Bouquet Kyiv Stage high art festival.
The youth workers will work in two groups:
Vol. 1 — Mediator. They are still in the process of forming a community and want to learn more about how to engage the local youth in active work at KONTENTA.
Vol. 2 — Synthesizer. They already have a sound engineer on their team and want to understand the technical processes of working with sound to elevate the local KONTENTA community’s music quality.
One of the workshop locations is the Music Lab youth stage, which will become a music platform with free opportunities for youth and showcase the sound of the new Ukrainian generation. The location will host a series of educational events for youth workers prepared by the civil society organization and mentors of its humanitarian missions: choreographer Anatolii Sachivko, the FUSION community, the voice of “Tonka” band Olenka Karas, and many other artists working with youth in communities all across Ukraine—from Uzhhorod to Kharkiv region.
The second location that focuses on developing communication about music education for young people in Ukraine is Scene 13—a two-day electronic acoustic music stage at the Culture Pavilion by the Cultural Platform as part of the Bouquet Kyiv Stage. Stage 13 aims to initiate intercultural dialogue by exploring the nature of sound and addressing the transformation of music lessons and educational programs in schools, aligning with the KONTENTA project’s digital infrastructure for next-generation audiovisual studios. The project also aims to open up new opportunities for integrating high art into the process of educating young people and promoting creativity and critical thinking in the modern digital environment.
Stage 13 will also be a free opportunity to hear complex academic multichannel electronics live from artists such as Alla Zahaykevych, Ujif_Notfound, Andrii Barsov and Olha Atamanchuk, Oleksii Shmurak, Brainhack Musicbox Trio and Andrii Bohatyryov.
The KONTENTA audiovisual studios project aims to bridge the digital divide in communities. The training for youth workers will allow youth organization representatives from different Ukrainian regions to share experiences, build sustainable interaction, and form a shared vision for the development of the studios.
Cultural Platform Zakarpattya NGO developed the project with the support of the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) in Ukraine.
